... had his favourite, Ris D'Agneau followed by roast Guinea fowl then baked apricots for dessert, I had Fois Gras, yum, the most succulent veal followed by fromage of the region, a cheese trolley to die for. We started well with a chilled champagne then a Madiran 2007 tannat, which went perfectly with all courses. ... century the then owner dug great pools and diverted the river to create the impression that the chateau is floating on water. The consequent gardens are outstanding in a fairly natural way. I take my time in the morning and have breakfast with Ian. During breakfast, where looking on my map for the best route to take. Everybody wants to send me to the highway! I had a amazing time with my family. I hadn't seen them for over three years. They're still hardworking, warm people. Some friends of my family bring me to Argentat.
