Today we left Orlando with a final destination of Jacksonville, the largest city in Florida. On the way, the main event of the day was to take a look around St Augustine, America's oldest city.

On the way we passed through Daytona Beach and branched off the motorway to follow the coastal road (A1A) from Daytona to St Augustine. We passed …

Jonathan and I did some grocery shopping last night and all I have to say is we are set in the snack department. Dropping Baxter off at Pet Paradise this morning was, as usual, a little sad. So what better way to visit our friend Tim who lives in Berlin, hit up Oktoberfest in Munich then head to Italy for some romance. This has been a long time planning and figuring out details of where to stay and things to do. Even though Cathy, my best friend/travel partner, will not be with us, she has been ...

    Greyhound strikes again

... eventually got to Orlando, i had 3 public transport buses to catch to get to the house of my new host, Olga from Russia. It took an hour and 45 minutes. I was at breaking point once again. Things got better when I met Olga, she got me settled, made me mushroom soup for dinner, and made me a traditional russian tea (it was just normal tea, with vodka in it). We stayed up and chatted for a few hours before the bus ride caught up to me and I needed ...
