I thought Ubud would be really quiet and picturesque but it's really busy which surprised me. We are having an early night tonight as we are getting picked up at 2am to climb Mount Batur. It's an active volcano 1717m above sea level and last erupted in 2000. It's about a 2 hour trek where we will then watch the sunrise and cook our eggs on the steam at the top ...

Later we relax in the pool with some cold drinks followed by a doubles match at the pool table. Dinner at the hotels Italian restaurant which was OK but we didn't feel inclined to eat there again.

... for dinner. Tonights theme is formal wear so we dress up a bit for dinner. After dinner there is a show called "just for fun" which is a mixture of comedy acts, dancing etc and straight after that is casino night. Everyone gets a cup of chips and there are different gambling games set out around the bar, we give a few games a go and lose all our chips but its very fun! After a few games and a few drinks we head to bed for a good nights sleep! Good night Jeremy and Juanita ...
