QM2 sailed away from Kota Kinabalu at about 7 pm a little later than planned. Apparently 1000 passengers had presented to the 4 pm (and last) tender resulting in delays getting everyone back on board (a tender holds approx 100 passengers).

After dinner we went to watch the Sequence Dancing which was interesting, though almost certainly not for us. We found ourselves falling asleep at this stage and so retired to bed at about 9 ...
