    ... and for being informed and involved hikers. Gear in hand, eyes scanning for poop and tracks, the girls couldn't be stopped. Until they met some friends. We were lucky enough to make some "camping friends" this go-round and had several lovely hours with our new friends Penny, Jim, Lizzy and Alex.

    ... with neon lights. I park and head in. It was a weird setup again, just like in Fort Worth, cafeteria style, but I had wasted too much time looking for food to go anywhere else. I grabbed a tray and order 4 beef ribs, a side of salad and potato salad. It's the biggest meal I've ever seen. The ribs were bigger then I'd thought, even the side salad was big enough to be a meal in itself. I eat my ribs but can't eat any more. I take my salads home for the drive tomorrow. To ...

    Departing a couple days later than planned since the Indonesia portion of the trip was canceled.

    But I do still get an extra day in Singapore based on available flights. And I'm on the good Singapore Air flight - best lie-flat in business class.
