    We left New Orleans for Jackson, Mississippi, as we (Louisa) was inspired by the famous Johny Cash Song..... Jackson!

    Jackson was en route to our next big destination, Clarksdale, however over the last couple of years in Carnarvon we (in particular Louisa) had grown to like a bit of country music and Jackson was one of her Carnarvon songs and so it was a must see on the trip.

    ... hand all was missing was the cumbyares. After a pretty rubbish sleep i had only ever been camping once before which we took double blow up mattress and 2 quilt covers and pillows we had no such luxuries here! Sleeping bag and small inflatable mattress is all we have, ed kindly donated his sleeping bag fleece to me but didn't quite kick the cold.     I slept in a little. But today I needed to get my car to Jackson Airport to renew the rental contract. I packed and left Vicksburg. I had no real plan as to where I'd end up tonight cause there was still so much I needed to see, so I was playing it by ear. The drive to Jackson was pretty straight forward.
