It is a wet start to the day. After breakfast we went into town to see about getting a Dutch sim card for our phone but we were too early for everywhere as the shops only opened at 9.30 and some at 10am. We did a lot of window shopping and just wandered round. After visiting several phone shops when they had opened! we decided on a sim card from KPN network. John had to get our old phone unlocked from its old network provider. ...
... a lovely breakfast meal, egg,chips and bacon, hot steaming tea and coffee and lots of toast. all this for 8 pounds for the two of us. Not bad going.

I've got a one hour train to Brussels, then another train to Köln (Cologne) then a high-speed train to München (Munich). I will arrive at 5.40 in the morning for my flight just after lunch.

these days coz my laptop battery only lasts 1 hours and i have more then that to wait for my friend i always scan the room for a power plug and then sit next to it.
today was no different, i sat down prepared my tea tuned on my laptop and plugged into the power to my surprise a different lady came over saying something in French ...
