      ... the city was founded when a man cut the hand off the devil and threw it away and created the settlement of Antwerp. We thought about visiting the cathedral in Antwerp but it cost €5, bleh!! The other beautiful cathedrals we visited so far were free, so we decided we couldn't be bothered to pay. Nathalie said having to pay to see the cathedral was typical of the Antwerp ego. Apparently they think they are the best city in Belgium. They are a nice city, but so far for me, ...

      ... getting it done and going back to collect it, we had to move Spring Tide out of the harbour on the 11am lifting bridge as it is only lifted at 11.00 and 16.00 so outside of that you are stuck. Once through the first 2 bridges, we stopped so John could cycle back to pick up the mobile phone after being unlocked the sun had come out and it was turning into a lovely day.
