      ... have to stop, to get to our hotel! After many long minutes and lots of wondering Ed turned back in the direction we came. The magic words RECALCULATING sounded. He turned quickly across traffic and we made it using some side roads. We were not expecting this area to be so densely populated with regular homes.       ... So the three of us walked around the inside of the Del, looking at the rooms, checking out the stores. It was a happening place, with lots of folks all around dining, shopping, drinking. There was a wedding in the Coronet room, so we couldn’t explore that. Maybe tomorrow. We dropped Josie off with Mac. They were going to help themselves to dinner in the room while we had dinner at Sheerwater once more.

      Day 292 - 293 - Today we took the road West to San Diego. It's about 189 miles and goes over the Cleveland National Forest to a height of just over 4,000 feet. The scenery is pretty cool - still desert-like but piles and piles of rocks everywhere. Very different from what you see in Yuma.

      Well what's to say we had a Fantastic day so relaxed and got to see all our favourite animals , penguins, dolphins,whales, dogs, turtles ........ The shoes here are great they always have a warm up act before who to be honest we're more unforgettable than some shows. The biggest thing of the day for me was going on the skytower ( see pics) I was so sacred as most ppl know I like my feet firmly on the ground and hate lifts !       ... to cook a meal for everyone again ! We grabbed a burrito. Took it down to the beach. After finishing the burrito we decided that we'd get surfboards. And try surfing. We hired some out.
