A good nights sleep, lots of drugs, and the loss of more blister fluid meant I didn't need to hobble down to breakfast. ... and across another moor. We missed a turn off at one point and had to make a detour across a field to rejoin the pathway. We weren't the only ones either. Sometimes no matter how good the descriptions in the guide, we end up somewhere we shouldn't. I've found the GPS on my phone through an app called ViewRanger very useful in such circumstances to get us back on track. We ...

... all late 50's, and a father with his daughter (just finished school) from the midlands. It's becoming very friendly in the evenings catching up with these people and sharing the dramas of the day. Today we set off on a 25 km leg. The forecast was 23 degrees and fine. This proved to be a tad hot and sun cream was reapplied during the day. Who'd have thought it!? Our first segment was beside a river; lots of ...
