Today we went witnessing with Jono, Angie and Josiah. The group wasn't until 10am and it's weird because they don't have a proper field service group they just meet up on the territory that gets texted to them and you say your own prayer in the car. Allan had time to climb the 212 steps to the top of the Abbey tower. Two spiral staircases lead to the ringing chamber and bell chamber. The bells were installed in 1700 and are still in working order although they can now be played by the original ropes or by hammers or electr onically controlled. We were able to stand on top of the Abbey's vaulted ceiling and sit behind the clock face. The ...
