    ... good and met the group this evening. 16 altogether from USA, Finland, Denmark, Australia Scotland and Ireland. Had meal together and now back at hotel for early night to try and catch up on some sleep. Busy day tomorrow! 3rd May Left hotel hotel this morning to visit Tienamen Square and Forbidden City.     ... Museum there was a 73 year old woman whose speciality was fish. She works six days a week, sewing single and double sided intricate designed wall hangings, pictures and fire screens. She splits one thread of silk into 24! It was almost impossible to see the resulting threads. She spends 2 years on one embroidery. Amazing and unique work which was for sale at varying prices up to 16000. We didn't buy one! ...
