    ... Partnership Schools checking in.

Luke Reddington was talking to the other students from Writhlington: Louis Paddon, Issac Soccorsy; Chloe Simms; Lydia Simmons, Adam Benney and Otta Brown. He looked up and saw me and his mouth opened in surprise as Rachel hadn't told them I would be there!

I went to Shantang Street with them in the evening. It was so lovely to spend time with the students and with Rachel.

On Saturday the 3 of us went for a buffet lunch at the wedding hotel (in Jiashan). It was delicious! And they had dessert! Actual western desserts! I ate tonnes of the stuff. Afterwards we went to the park, where there were some rides. Serena and I went on the pirate ship ride. I felt well sick afterwards -- all that dessert! The park was really nice, I'm putting up pics, not enough time for me to type all about it like I would like ...

... then the groom gave a speech and then Mr Yao gave a speech. Then they left the room, the lights came back on, and the eating started. I had found out from somewhere/someone (probably Ms Liang) that there is no dancing at Chinese weddings, just a lot of eating and drinking. So I ate. The food just didn't stop appearing. Serena got me a slice of wedding cake, which I was grateful for :) The bride and groom came back in, the bride had changed into a red dress. Then they came ...

At lunch time we will have completed exactly 7.5 days and will have only 7.5 to go.

    Looking forward to it!

For any of you that don't know, this song is referenced heavily in "Walter Mitty" so I thought it was appropriate.

Also, I didn't take any pictures today, so here's one Alex took of my 5 mins ago.

    Thanks for reading, Mom!
