... s Garden. While lovely, it was crowded and not free. Riley and Jordan joined us for s boat tour of the famous canals of Suzhou. We negotiated a 'deal' for five of us to go for the price of one: ¥120. We soon learned why. We were herded into a small, crowded room full of others, then herded onto a tour bus. Less than a hundred miles to the south west of Shanghai, is the beautiful town of Suzhou that Marco Polo endearingly described as the 'Venice of the East'. The town is renowned for, the grand-canal that is over a thousand years old, the rich culture of music, the scattered gardens and the balmy weather drawing people from ...

At lunch time we will have completed exactly 7.5 days and will have only 7.5 to go.

    Looking forward to it!

For any of you that don't know, this song is referenced heavily in "Walter Mitty" so I thought it was appropriate.

Also, I didn't take any pictures today, so here's one Alex took of my 5 mins ago.

    Thanks for reading, Mom!
