... mede door de warmte. Niet dat ze er trouwens lui zijn, want tijdens de heetste uren zie je bijvoorbeeld wegwerkers gewoon doorgaan met straten timmeren en stoeptegels sjouwen. En in de bars en restaurants zie je mensen soms dagen maken van 12 uur.

... close to the German border (35 km away)… NordHorn or Ahaus which is known for Nuclear power … just to give you an idea whereabouts we are… staying overnight spending Sunday here and then we will go back to Jacqueline’s house, get packed

No Plan B this time
... Here we are in our lovely modern immaculate apartment on Singel Street in Amsterdam. We rolled our bags here clickety clacking about 10 minutes from Central Station. Vlad the proprietor showed up and led us through the apartment which thankfully was not on on the fourth floor of this walk-up, but rather on the first (second) up the typically steep and narrow Dutch staircase. The apartment is lovely with the most slippery parquet floors imagineable. I am terrified of falling when ...
