As the light fell the boulders at the far end seemed to grow and we seemed to shrink, so the route back to the cave entrance seemed like an increasingly impossible scramble across huge stones and vast crevasses. ... very well maintained and there were many signs placed strategically which made finding our way very nice.

The hotel we stayed at was NICE!!! We stayed in the Orange Colom Seaside Apartments. We had a nice apartment with a long balcony overlooking the ocean. What a beautiful view from our apartment! We could see the famous lighthouse that is still in use.

Well after 2 weeks in Spain we have swapped blue waters and sun for beautiful architecture and bicycles!!
Our last week in Mallorca was spent mainly in Cala D'or where we would wake up, go to the grocery store to buy yogurt and fruit, and then off to the beach. Cala D'or has 3 coved beaches that have rock on either side.

... and headed home at 2am. It was pretty sad saying goodbye to some great people who I'm really glad to have met - and I really hope that we can stay in touch. So, that's it - I'm done!! Last day at school... And thankfully Javier made it quite fun! We practised telephone conversations and played Taboo in Spanish which I think was a very useful way of practicing what we had learnt - and was good fun (no Lucking cheating tactics allowed!). At the end of the lesson, I was handed my certificate -140 hours of lessons! My progress is apparently just higher than a GCSE in Spanish - so nowhere near fluent, but not bad for 7 ...
