Cap. 1 Un inesperado mensaje

... con la Fundación Universidad de Valladolid
Y eso era toda la información que tenia. ¿Poca no?

Eh, Toro, Eh! The Running of the Bulls

... The meal was fantastic and the setting was splendid (sorry that’s the only word I can think of to fit it). We drank dessert wine Spanish-style (one communal jar with a spout passed around) with napkins tucked into our shirt and of course finished the meal with the obligatory espresso. Then, France time.

We hopped the autocar across the border (without even stopping) and soon after entered into Pampignan, a beautiful town in an area ...

Running of the Bulls Festival

... bottles would have not been good for your hands or knees. There were a few couples that were crying and pushing their way out because it was too hot and crazy. I was fortunate enought to see the Mayor come out and announce the start. Once 12 hit, people started to push their way out and I was caught in the middle of it. I just went with it because I was tired of being crammed. I came out of the mess sticky and pink. That hour I was in the mix, is ...

A rainy day

We'll remember this stage for the amount of mud we accumulated in our legs. It was an awkward day, at least this stage was pretty easy but the beginning (a huge climb with a lot of mud).

We founded the main refuge in Estella newly renovated, clean, with all the facilities... a nice place where we met people from Italy, Germany and New Zealand , we decided to cook together a huge tipical spanish omelet!!! We also took a walk around beatiful Estella despite of the pain in our legs!

F*cking Perdon

... br>Monte del Perdon is haundred times harder than O Cebreiro, after we reach the top of the Mount, we had to descent to Puente la Reina, we saw lots of people with injuries because of this descent.

Puente la Reina is beautiful village with lots of services and refuges.

A short but unwell day to Pamplona

... We don´t quite understand how it is Survivor when the contestants come to the weekly circle which has a studio audience and they eat hamburgers in a test of agility. Subsequently, we go out to the street to find another bar before each to proper hotel rooms, but find that the streets are deserted at 2300. In Spain, I expect more. I lie down on my bed and find Eurosport showing highlights of the day´s champions league games, so I watch enthralled before sleep.

No running and no bulls in Pamplona

... Before splitting into two groups to take the kids to the party and me to the bus station, we made a quick dessert stop at the shopping centre where the kids' party was to be held and I made the most of the photo opportunities. I then farewelled Marcelo, Moira, Aine, Giba, and Ennio and headed off with the other 3. We arrived at the station with what I though was a bit pressed for time until looking at the monitors and then checking my ...

Zaragoza - Pamplona

... to the bull ring to get tickets to see them all come in at the end and take photos. This is an extract from boys who ran with the bulls..... 'We had to push our way in and were lucky to make it in as lots were denighed or kicked out. THEN THE REAL NERVES KICK IN crammed together with 50 mins till bulls are released and trying not to imagine the carnage if a bull plowed thru the tight mass of runners. Eventually the gun goes to announce ...

The Other Running of the Bulls

Pamplona, Navarra, Spain 15 July By Andréa Bizkerre Naked PETA supporters aside, there is a lot more to the San Fermín Festival week that you may have already discovered. Many things happen to be as memorable and as part of the festivities as the Txupinazo. And that is the rocket that initiates, officially, the overtaking of the city by Bacchus and his 40.000 closest thieves. My favourite will always be the "other" run of the bulls, the Villavesa run ...
