They had a nice Puma trailer..nice size! Took Doug all day to assemble his kayak. Rained on and off Saturday night, was nice when we woke up Sunday. Nice morning, packed up and waited a bit (15min) at pump station. Bugs not too bad, racoons ...

Arrived 4:30 pm. Hot 35 degrees! Humid. Broken regulator on the bbq, had to fry up the burgers. Nice warm evening, drinks & snacks with Jo & Mo then off to bed.

Rain started overnight and into next morning. Suppose to clear up in afternoon.

What a mixed bag --- but we're happy!

The day started overcast - a little hazy. Sun broke out, with humidity, around noon. Maeve, Pam and I played in the water for hours! Maeve is super exhausted, but so terribly happy! The shore and out for at least 50 feet is rocky, but a nice temperature. Very lucky to have the water at our doorstep.

In between we read (Pam - The Almost Moon; Janet - The Kite Runner; Maeve - blade of grass) and relaxed - ...
