... our gasoline costs to our last big journey which was just under the 11,000 km. total. We had spent about 50% more to do the 11,000 km. this time for gasoline and the key factors appear to be the exchange when travelling in the USA and the fact that about half this trip at that point had been in Canada where gasoline on average costs $1.40 a litre compared to an equivalent of approximately $1.05 a litre in the USA!!!!
... which was an added bonus.
I made sure to take lots of pictures - esp. with the kids. Frederick even tried to take a picture of a snake. We even found a blue egg on the ground. It was cracked open and a little yoke was inside of it. There were seagulls and geese flying above the river and we even saw a Blue Jay washing itself in a little creek.
All in all, we had a wonderful day... :) It was a great day to spend with the ...
... Resort, Joanne and I did a little fishing directly across the river from the resort. Again, we did not catch anything... It's the fact that we did not have worms, I tell you... lol
So after docking the boat, we headed back home.... to meet the kids when they were done school.
We had a fantastic day today....
