Sitting at the airport waiting to board my plane! Stayed the night at a cute little bed and breakfast by the Gatwick Airport, it was nice! I unfortunately only got like 2 hours of sleep for some reason, so I feel like my cold is really acting up again... I hope I can navigate myself through the airport, since most of it will be in German. Ana and I have a busy weekend planned: including hiking the German Alps! It's crazy to think when I get back to London in a few days ...
Gatwick- North Terminal that's what is next! So, we all met at Gatwick with all our bags, show bags and hand luggage. Jen got security frisked twice (once with her bag and then she had her passport swabbed for explosives!) ... pop into a Toby Carvery, stayed for 5 minutes, got depressed at the sight of the dried out bits of old meat on the counter, and left again. However we were very surprised at the food available at the hotel: I had an excellent BBQ Chicken pizza that would give Dominos a run for it's money. Healthy eating? I'm on holiday !
So - it's 22:30 and we have to be up again by 02:30! Hardly seems worth going to bed at all!
Corfu beckons tomorrow ...
