... keep ourselves entertained, and made friends with a flight attendant from Morpeth who was chuffed that we were Geordies and kept coming to speak to us. We were absolutely exhausted and looking forward to landing; especially as we were getting to see Shellie and Gemma, who we’re staying with for the night!

Another amazing US adventure done. We totally love this country, and are already planning our next trip!

... food. Ed was sure Ian was going to be duffeled but he managed to make it back to the train before it left. The same route back to London that we took coming up. I had to laugh when we were in York station and Ian asked Ed to take a photo of the top of the roof spans (I had taken the same photo when we were leaving York). A couple of Policemen got on at York - as they went past I said to Ed he better be good - they stopped and chatted with him, asked to see the photos he had taken ...

... After the show we headed back to the B&B to grab our luggage and go back to the train station to head to Glasgow.

The train to Glasgow only took about 45 minutes, and after getting a taxi to our Ibis Budget Hotel and checking in we decided to go for a wander and find some dinner. There was a Burger King just next to the hotel, so after checking out the other close options, we decided on the cheap and quick food the BK has to offer. Unfortunately, we were mistaken ...

... only have a week left of being in Europe. It has gone by way to fast- I could just stay here forever. Although Edinburgh was pretty, I'm glad I was only there a few days. There wasn't a ton to do there, it was cold, and the people were - different. At least by comparison to the English! So far everywhere else I go I realize how fortunate I am to say I live in London.
