The girls wasted no time in running off to play on the trampoline while Kate started unpacking and I got re-oriented. Hugo wouldn't be back until late because of his event with the Queen, so we made the girls a quick dinner of chicken strips cooked in balsamic vinegar, cut up veggies ...

So we skipped our bus tour today. We just couldn't do it. Money down the drain. But we got to sleep in again and lounged before heading out to take on the city one last time. Today it was pouring most of the day. Another umbrella filled adventure! We were under strict direction to try Wagamama so off we went to track one down. A bowl of Yaki soba later and we were all singing the praises of Wagamama!! Yummmmm. Thanks Brandi! We ...

So after the craziness of the US & Canada I was excited for some relaxing at home. This obviously would not be the case. I arrived into London and met my parents, sweaty, lugging a suitcase, looking generally like **** and smelling like I had just been on a night flight ... And our meeting point? Claridge's. Not exactly how I wanted to my debut into society. Into the hotel I'd always dreamed of stepping into after years ...

    ... season of ‘The Big
Bang Theory’ instead. Oops. We landed at Heathrow at 8am and I quickly got
through passport control and collected my bag. I then headed off for the
underground, winding my way around London until I got to London Liverpool
Street at 11am. I then got a train out to Chelmsford. At midday I got off the
train and headed out where I saw Gran waiting for me. This was so nice. To
    actually be home!
