London, England, United Kingdom barefootsamuraiSo today last night and today we experienced the biggest snow fall in the UK in 18 years. OF course the foot(ish) of snow would likely have caused a couple of buses to run behind in Chicago, subway trains to run slow in New York... but in London it causes absolute chaos. Not a ...
London, England, United Kingdom croxandlilt... I wasn't worried because I knew we weren't staying, but he didn't know this! The plan was not to tell him we were going to Paris until right before we got on the train, however, he was so miserable I didn't want him (or me) to suffer any longer. I know, anyone else in the world surprise trip to London would be awesome. Not J. The London Eye is pretty cool. I have attached an example of the pictures J took - there's ...

London, England, United Kingdom dstean... and as a result are rather unusual to look at. Monday was a long day as I went to Camrbridge for the day with stepen who works on the outskirts on the city. We left at 7am, and I was in Cambridge by just after 8am. I spent the day looking at the colleges, which were amazing, especially Kings and the Chapel. By the end of the day I got a bit confused at which I'd already been to as they all look similar after awhile, and cambridge is layed out in a way which means ...
London, United Kingdom, United Kingdom darcygirlnz... cinnamon crumble. I recommend it to all! Next we went home and I got to talk to some peeps!! The next day we got up and went to the Globe Theater and when we tried to walk across this bridge this lady stopped us and told us they were filming a movie and we couldn't cross the bridge for safety reasons. I asked her what film and she said National Treasure 2!! That was cool.... The next thing we did was go to St. Paul's ...
London, United Kingdom dachocochickAfter work today I met Angie and a couple of her friends. It was one of the girl's birthdays, first thing we did was go on a river cruise, starting at the London Eye and turning around at Tower Bridge. It was a great cruise, a view of the buildings along the Thames. After the cruise we went on the London Eye and luckily the guy was nice enough to give us a capsule to ourselves. The London Eye was a great experience and really cool! Although a bit scary at times!
