... 24:20. GREAT game:) Just as I had imagined. Game finished about 9:30pm. The queues out of the stadium to the BART (train) were massive as you can imagine. Got to the BART about 10:30pm but got it to 14th street (downtown Oakland-20 mins away) instead of 14th ave (10 mins away where our hostel was) woops. Jack worked out which bus we needed from a map at the BART station and we got the 20min-ish bus back to our motel (which turned out to be in prostitute-ville). ...

Another enjoyable meal, we went back to the hotel and it was to bed. What has been funny that I found in our room what an 'intimate kit' with 2 condoms, gel and towelettes. I should pocket it just so they think we used ...

... place so prospect of 3-4 hour queue. I fear that the cycle ride loop project is a victim of its own success and it was impossible. With some gentle (read - no choice, get on your bike and up that hill) we encouraged our children to further efforts. We were rewarded by empty bridge and lowering sun and fabulous ride. (Ruth may have a slightly different memory of this but this is the overall feel). Certainly a real achievement all round.

... tells me to pull the truckster into the return line and she will have someone bring the car up. I return to the truckster, and tell Lorraine and the girls to pack up cause we are getting a new ride.

I make my way into the return line, and I pull up next to the suburban. It is all black with blacked out windows in the back. I am psyched as it looks like something the secret service would drive, Lorraine is still ...
