Why, oh why, Ohio?
... we didn't even make it through the first half, we were all falling asleep due to being awake for something like the previous 36 hours. Anyway, the cheerleaders cheered, the band played, we ended up jumping ship and going back to the dorms with plans for a nanna nap that never ended up happening, and before we knew it we were in some random apartment drinking with the Ohio girls softball team! The rest of the night passed in a blur ...
Greece
... etc., standing in ridiculous heat (appearing to not blink, smile or be disturbed by the viewing public, for an hour at a time). They then, very ceremoniously, change over with other guards. Apparently, every Greek male is required to serve one year in the military, or do so many years in the Reserves. Interesting concept!

Tale of Two Cities!!!
... in McArthur where there are only two hotels. The Hotel McArthur was built in 1839 and believe me it looks like it. Unfortunately we had to stay there because tomorrow they have a 140 mile day which is going to be a big challenge and there are no other hotels around. The Eastern part of Ohio is very different from the western part. I felt we were already in West Virginia as we were in the midst of beautiful green hills. Very deserted with cabins, and a lot ...

Anyways, the talk was excellent, and we dropped Zannie off in high spirits before heading back to the incredibly cheap “Highlander Motel” for a good night’s sleep.
