Monday...we leave surprising Chicago and heard north around the bay to the beautiful city on Lake Michigan, Milwaukee, home of the baseball team, the Brewers. We go to Miller Park and make our way into the stadium to our reserved seats right behind the home plate where we see every ball as the umpire sees it. The visit with Dave at his Univ. of Northern Iowa Wesley Foundation went really well. We got one card out of it (a young man named Jordan) but I feel may get more down the road. There were some seniors present this evening but a lot of juniors as well. Greetings from Waterloo, Iowa! After about 12-13 hours on the road, we finally made it. We got up around 5am and hit the road at 6am. Thankfully, the time zones work to our advantage going west and we arrived around 5pm. The road was very calming to drive on.
