... I tried to return to my hotel because I'd cleverly left my camera in my room. Guess what...got lost again. It was pouring with rain so I decided to duck into a pub for lunch. Over lunch I was able to figure out where I was and make my way back to my hotel. Picked up my camera and made a second attempt at finding Anne Franks house. ... also highlighted. An experience to remember. We walked through the city on the way back to our hotel. The red light district is in the centre of the city and we hit the area quite suddenly. Scantily clad beautiful young girls posing in windows in tiny grotty rooms. Dozens and dozens of them. We saw bus tours of aged people walking down narrow alleys checking out the area. ... we got served by the woman who was running the floor, who couldn't find our order. Disappointed with her waitress's skills she apologised and gave us free jäger shots (which she shared; she was alresy drunk). She then spoke to us about our gap year for ages. ... you have the scene. That painting is at the end of a long gallery filled with many masterpieces that you would all recognize - most impressive and very fun to see. There was a brief flurry of excitement as we exited the Rilksmuseum as the exits were cordoned off to allow the king and queen to leave the building.
