... as I could've. Though admittedly, it has a really busy party vibe, and you would have to be in an energetic mood to take to the city. For a city that has a population of less than a million people, it feels like it's a sinful but friendly, busy but compact place. Pretty buildings sinking into the soggy canal soil of the city's foundations. Amsterdam is a bit of a contrast, and I think to get the most out of it I'll need to re-visit, and next time ensure that my mood doesn't let it ...

... talking, although as soon as the lady knew we only spoke English she spoke to us in English. Sadly no sign of anybody in clogs yet. There are a shitload of bikes though. The government's objective with lenient drug laws is to keep drugs off the street. For hard drugs, they have a system in place where they'll give them to you.
