Today we have no plans. We slept late, are our croissants and coffee and laid on the couch. There's a huge IKEA in Haarlem that we pass on our way to Amsterdam. We figured we would go check it out and I could look at the H&M in Haarlem. We went to H&M first and I bought a new tshirt, strip shirt, jeans and a jean top. We did payed a visit to a special Cheese shop to get a couple of our favourites , If you ask or take an interest in a particular cheese you are offered a generous sample to help you make up your mind, plus small bowls with samples that you try without asking, mmmm, we like sampling. This afternoon finally,we boarded the ship. Our cabin is on the 3rd floor. We have an outside balcony as well as an inside viewing window. The balcony door self locks. Must be careful not to get locked out. We have had our safety talk, and our first meal, and I'll have to be careful or else I will put on weight. ... so we were able to see many in the garden district. We ate at a vending machine restaurant which is stocked with hamburgers, croquettes, and chicken sandwiches. It was so cool, I want to open one in America. It had a place to insert coins and push a button which opened a door for one sandwich. It was so delicious. I got to try and see many new things on this trip. I am so thankful I had the chance to stay here even though the beginning of the city was rocky.
