... folks by my post yesterday, sorry. We are still at Coralville Lake. Yesterday we went sight-seeing in all those places. Tomorrow we head for Portage, WI. It will be a longer day than we have driven the last couple of times, since it is a little over 200 miles from here. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow (or today depending on when you read this). Probably will not blog tomorrow night, but Tuesday will be in ...
... where we will go). I am too busy at night doing this blog or chatting to people we meet at the campsites.
Today while driving to our next destination, I saw a sign that I thought said County Fair at the Fairgrounds. We quickly turned at the next corner and found out way to the fair. The weather forecast was for a stray thunderstorm or two. Oh well, hope you all have a great day tomorrow (or today since that is when you will be reading this). Be safe in whatever you do.
... Next day, off to visit just 2 of the villages. These were Germans escaping
religious persecution. They came in 4 ships with more following in later
years. They called the non- Germans, the "English". We had lunch at a German restaurant - beautiful place and food. We visited the micro brewery, the weaving mill, beautiful furniture and a good museum. Too much to see and do again, so back we went to the nice RV park and did the washing.
