... get some excellent lentil soup and a cooked chicken for tonight. Phil’s back still bad and maybe even worse so he is really going to the doctor tomorrow. Dickies Wake is Thur eve with Mass on Friday. Cutting the chicken tonight I stupidly took a chunk out of my left index finger-right where it bends!! Bloody and very sore!! Weather has been overcast and there is a fire a few miles from here. We can easily see the smoke.

... Tuesday morning. I squeezed the last of my oranges - ended up with almost a gallon and will take it to James - had to use a ladder and the ‘picker’ to get the last off the tree. The ants have gotten to a lot of them so about 30 went into the trash. Not much packing to do tomorrow-mostly things I have to do like cancel paper and TV and some shopping – need a spare key for Don L who takes care of my place and will get one for Phil also. ...

After that we headed up to Red Ridge Farms to sample their olive oil and honey.
We also stopped off at Wine Country Farms - but the tasting room had just closed so we headed back to the hotel for a period.

... mile, Mozart and Joni Mitchell both slow me down some; when I listen to Katie Perry's "Firework" or Kenny Loggin's "Footloose", however, I find my feet out of my control as the music surges through me. If I were more confident that I wouldn't sprain my ankle or fall I would dance down the road!
