      Good overnight room. Handy to freeway and restaurants. Good bed, aircon and staff.

      ... day- did not get above 65 all day and is dreary out! So I stayed in another day. Rindy called and wanted to go to the Rose Festival amusement area tomorrow and then Gary and Sharon called to say they were coming to Portland tomorrow—so now in a dilemma!!

      ... you did get quite wet but it was totally worth it to see the views. No matter how many waterfalls I see I just can't grasp the sheer power behind the water in them.       ... a long, but very enjoyable trip. Saw so much and was amazed at seeing all the wild animals we saw on our trip. Here is a list of that animals that we know for sure we saw: Cheeta, crocodile, crowned crane, dik-dik, duiker, eland, fish eagle, gerenuk, grant’s gazelle, great white pelican, grey heron, ground hornbill, hartebeest, hippo, hyena, impala, jackal, lilac-breasted roller, ibex, spectacular starling, marabou stork, masai giraffe, rothchild’s (reticulated) ...

      ... early and messed around until time to go to Aunt Iva’s in Mehama. I have always tried to stop by every year when in the state, and since Becky has moved here we have been visiting her together. We had a nice visit, at least 2 hours.
