Left El Dorado, Arkansas pretty early and did a big day today - travelled 530 miles - (850 kms) to a city called Chillicothe in Missouri. On the way we stopped at a gas station at Pine Bluff in Arkansas and they have a Stop n Shop for all your huntin & fishin gear - guns, ammo - you name it - they got it! Had drinks at Applebee's when we arrived in Chillicothe - a pretty good chain restaurant over ...

I wasn't struggling too bad but I had to push through it until almost dark to get to Chillicothe. Luckily there was a Dairy Queen to bring up my spirits. It was a long day but I got through it. Tomorrow I will try to get to Moberly which is 82 miles from Chillicothe. Today I rode 75 ...

Then I saw a cool old iron drawbridge crossing over the Mississippi and had to go over it. It had twists and turns just to get on the bridge and twists on the bridge, It was the second funnest bridge I have been on in this trip. Arriving on the other ...

... Amazing! Anyway, we arrived at Herring Memorial Park, Brunswick, around 7pm, just as it got dark. This made it slightly more difficult to find where to park, but after a few backwards and forwards manoeuvres, we managed to park up relatively flat and plug in. We cooked dinner and then settled in, watching the film King Arthur, before going to bed.

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread? Nope.

Chillicothe, Missouri is the home of sliced bread. That's actually a pretty cool claim to fame... people seem to love sliced bread these days. I've grown up with sliced bread so I think bread in an uncut loaf is an exceptionally fresh novelty... I also think things from the 80's are cool... but hey, what comes around goes around.

We took the scenic route which ...
