Good Place to Stay in Seattle

We had a suite for 3 nights. We were not on the street side which made our room very quiet. It was also very roomy!! Short walk to Pike Place Market and the monorail- which you take to the Space Needle. We flew in and wanted to rent a car to visit Mount Rainier. There is a Budget/Avis rental place next door to this hotel which was wonderful because we did not have to take a taxi back to the airport to rent a car. The first night we had a lightbulb in the bathroom blow out and the remote for the TV in the bedroom did not work. We reported both in the morning and these problems were quickly fixed. A free dinner is served Monday - Thursday including beer and wine and a hot breakfast is served every morning. Extremely helpful to our budget.

We had booked an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle and decided to go a few days early since we had never been to Seattle before. So glad we did!
We got into Sea-Tac early in the morning and took a taxi to our hotel. ($42.00!) Of course our room was not ready, which we expected. The hotel stored our luggage in a locked room right across from the …

Despite not venturing up until 6.30pm, the sun was still high in the sky and you could see far and wide. We could see Mt Ranier in the East and Mt Baker tothe north (in canada). After such a productive and enjoyable day we decided to treat ourselves to dinner near Pike ...
