Om en halvtimme går båten och solen skiner (det regnar inte alls i Seattle som alla säger, vi har haft tur m vädret!).

På schemat står nu lite ö-ande och göttande och vinande och promenerande och ätande och tittande, sen imorron tar vi ett SJÖPLAN hem, sjukt coolt, vi kommer flyga in och se hela Seattle!

Men men, det tar vi imorron...

Our next stop was Seattle. I loved this city. There weren’t a lot of touristy things to do but I could imagine living there. Our hotel was so nice and we had a really big room, though it was a little creepy as it is quite an old hotel and the bar downstairs supposedly has a ghost.
We went to Gasworks park, saw lots of public art in Fremont (including the huge troll ...

... there that I had never seen before. This afternoon we are taking a trip on a seaplane to see Seattle from the sky. All very exciting and wish we were here for longer!

Will try and do another entry before we leave, or write it up once we are home. Hve had trouble uploading photos so will also do those another time, watch this space!

Leaving Portland proved to be quite a challenge. As I said, we had a slow leak in what we thought was two of our tires. We made an appt at a Honda dealership for 8:00AM. Long story short, they couldn't patch the tire because of where the nail was, so we had to get a new one (ouch). Kathi woke me up at 8am on Friday because I wanted to know how the washing machine worked so I could finally have some clean clothes!
