Good Place to Stay in Seattle

We had a suite for 3 nights. We were not on the street side which made our room very quiet. It was also very roomy!! Short walk to Pike Place Market and the monorail- which you take to the Space Needle. We flew in and wanted to rent a car to visit Mount Rainier. There is a Budget/Avis rental place next door to this hotel which was wonderful because we did not have to take a taxi back to the airport to rent a car. The first night we had a lightbulb in the bathroom blow out and the remote for the TV in the bedroom did not work. We reported both in the morning and these problems were quickly fixed. A free dinner is served Monday - Thursday including beer and wine and a hot breakfast is served every morning. Extremely helpful to our budget.

Unfortunately, this tour is like being in Singapore...No Cameras, No Phones, No Bags, No nothing...just you and your undies! Still, it was a great tour given the size of the aircraft, hangers, runway, and line-up of 'purchased' Boeing aircraft on the runway. John and I thought about ...

They then built a walkway from the road to the second story of the building, making the second level now the first level. ... of Rwanda is, to me, a bit misleading because 1000 is such a large number in the language of the old days. Yet today we are constantly dealing with megabytes, gigabytes, and terabytes that send our minds reeling and leave the lowly 1000 in the domain of the insignificant. In fact, on the world scene one might argue that Rwanda itself is in fact insignificant when compared to modern superpowers. ...

The monorail is a Seattle indulgence, built originally for the world fair 50 years ago, it only joins two stations, which take a few minutes to travel between. We had to do it though - another one for the list "plane, sea plane, helicopter, automobile, ferry..monorail. etc"
