Fukuoka - Day 16

A travel blog entry by timtamm on Oct 07, 2014

... painful, one woman was annoyed that as America had occupied this country for such a long time she was amazed that more of the locals didn't speak English. Some of the comments we overhear are just awful, I can't see how these people think themselves so superior. We spent the afternoon relaxing and reading, John was not too good and rested most of the afternoon his sinuses are playing up again....he is really having a bad ...

At Sea - Day Nine

Day 3 & 4--stayed in Mt Rainier National Park. Highlights: Seeing the mountain on a sunny day! (when we arrived and when we left the park was covered in fog, Thursday was sunny and warm and clear!), countless waterfalls, and a 15 + mile hike!

Day 5 & 6--Seattle, WA.

Whoops!

Our journey started in Seattle, with Santiago, Chile in our immediate future, via Dallas.

It's a lovely day in Seattle, foggy & 51 degrees out. Flight uneventful, landing interesting. Dropped into the clouds, the next thing we knew on the ground. We commented what a great job the pilot did on a smooth landing. Then the pilot comes on the PA, to let us know how great the auto-pilot landed the plane, comforting thought ...
