... said that I was his hero. Those guys made my day.

The hostel was kind of strange, I had been looking forward to meeting some people and easing some of the lonely, but whereas all other hostels I had been in were in one big building with communal areas, this place was individual rooms and dorms off outside corridors just like a motel. It was a bit antisocial really. The staff were lovely and helpful though, I will definitely give it that. On my last night when I was busy packing ...

I had heard Miami was a club town but I don't know where those clubs were. I did see some people dressed up in suites and such for the clubs I guess. ... compared to the places I normally stay at. And there were tons of porters at the front door, who were enthusiastically telling us, "welcome back." But we had to so, “no, welcome!” It was funny. And they carried our bags right inside for us. Which was good because there were stairs. We quickly checked in and then quickly went to the restaurant for some food. I’d had nothing since lunch, and it was my past my normal dinnertime. Mom hadn’t eaten ...

... has had over so many years and they are still going strong. It's hard to believe "it was all started by a mouse." At 10pm we reached the pinnacle of the day - Cinderella's Castle was used as a projector screen for an audio-visual show, then there was the quintessential fireworks display. When Jess came as a 8yr old she missed out on the fireworks and she was most upset. Thankfully she was just able to stay awake the whole day second time around, and no, we ...
