We are leaving Savannah, GA today and sailing directly to the North Central Bahamas.

... we were on holiday. We ordered fried green tomatoes with a crab topping and then garlic and Parmesan hand cut fries. The garlic was chunky and I still taste the garlic the next day.the Parmesan was grated all over them. I dragged Andrew out of there and we went back to the room to get ready. ... along the Riverfront and shop and eat. It was so nice. I got a large caramel apple and went out to sit and watch the boats go by. The weather was beautiful and the view was even better.
We visited the childhood home of Flannery O'Connor where
we learned that she was a terrible speller, yet she grew up to become a
famous writer! Her short stories and novels are even considered
... the one place I was dying to see was the Wormsloe Plantation driveway. It was only open while I was there on the day I arrived in Savannah, so I had to see this before I checked into my accommodation.
This plantation has one of the most beautiful driveways you will ever see. Like Boone Hall in Charleston, which I saw last time, I really wanted to see this. Wormsloe was used in the filming of "The Last Song" with Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth so it was also ...
