... plans were to drive a few hundred miles today, but we ended up going just 70 miles to the city of Gander where we are overnighting at a Walmart with a Red Box movie. Gander is the city that accommodated all the stranded passengers during the 9/11 flight diversions.

The funniest little parade ever, kids on bikes, dogs and one float or was it half a float? A trip to Gander has to include a walk around the airport to check out the 'Atlantic Wings' exhibit from the Provincial Museum, highlighting the importance of Nfld ...

... you that it won't be as funny or witty as Shelley's, or as detailed as Janet's, but it will serve mainly as a diary for me. I will also warn you that I will not be editing so you will see lots of bad grammar and typos. After all, I'm on vacation!

Hope you enjoy it just the same
