Okie dokie. I told you all I would start a blog to document my big, pointless, post-grad adventure to Ireland, so here it is. Since both the act of traveling to Europe and that of setting up a blog seem to be the new acts of "getting a job" and “setting up a direct deposit bank account” for the college grads of 2009 who didn't go to law school, I figure I should get going with this blog thing, being that I’m ...

After we checked out the rest of the gardens, we left realizing that it was the greatest botanical gardens that either of us have ever visited! We walked back to the subway and back to Greenwich Village for some lunch. When we walked up from underground, it was suddenly a beautiful ...

New York City, New York, United States rtcolling... we had a cheap lunch. Steven had still not flushed his cold. When we got back to the hotel he wasn't looking the best, but insisted we go to see tonight's show, In The Heights. We ate an early dinner in our room and got to the theatre with plenty of time before the show. The set was spectacular, a reproduction of the street near the 181st street subway station entrance, in Washington Heights. On seeing the set my expectations slowly grew. Just before the show began a ...
New York City, New York, United States runewoodmanHi, We landed in New York to surprisingly mild weather.....but it was not to last. After a bit of difficulty, due to the amount of luggage we have, we finally made it to Jonathan's brother's house in New Rochelle, NY. As usual, it was so great to catch up with Stephen and Yael and their children Noam, Daniel and Eliana. We stayed with them for 5 nights and Ethan had a real ball with his cousins, particularly Eliana ...

New York City, New York, United States vance.simpson... good. First we started with three appetizers - chicken wings, nachos, and chips. I didn't try the chicken wings since they're not my favorite, and the chips weren't very good. They were fried and the plain ones were great, but some of them were covered in fresh blue cheese and it literally tasted like feet. It's just not for me! The nachos were really good, though. They weren't the best I've ever had but they were good. As an entree I got the pulled pork ...
