... have also never ever seen a queue as long either but it is well worth it! every morning we would get 2 different pastries and we bought a glass bottle for €2 and the nice lady fills it with freshly squeezed orange juice for 55 cents! Breakfast of champions! Next would be the crucial decision of pool or beach... For the first 2 days we went to the pool where we could layout on the grass and have a few games of ping pong (I still haven't won a game yet grrrr) the last 2 days ...

Left that anchorage mid morning and headed around the coast anti-clockwise We tried to go to one of the coves which has many caves which were inhabited back in the bronze age, but this crowded so we pushed on a few miles further. I had duck with a berry sauce then a rice pudding with cinnamon ice cream, yum. Got home at about 5 pm and just taking it easy ...

Unfortunately after about an hour of Lorna driving, it was very stop start and we were drastically losing the race against the Sat Nav as Lorna made about 15 mins progress within an hour.. We changed over after Lorna did a couple of hours, I got a coffee from the services and we stretched out legs a big before what was supposed to be the last 2 hours of the journey, fortunately it was reasonably straight forward ...

Yesterday we packed up and went to Girona. We walked around the old town, browsing in the shops and walked up to the cathedral. Chris, Les, Sarah and Jacob went inside while the rest of us waited and had a drink. Sadly, Tony's cancer got worse in the early hours of yesterday morning. He was rushed off to Girona hospital, it's not looking good. Wow, we just had a call, Tony has revived! I do wonder if Doctors really know what they are ...
