... we headed to the bus stop.
Two minutes later the bus we were told to board arrived, so we hopped on a waited for our stop to be announced over the loud speaker. Well we waited and waited and waited and no such announcement was made. I then went to chat to the angriest driver ever and he said that we were on the wrong bus and that we were supposed to be on the southbound bus. So much for being seasoned travelers. ... I have never seen it rain so hard! The airport cars that were driving around the tarmac had water going up over their windscreens, I've never seen anything like it! Luckily we managed to get out while there was a short break in the weather only 2 hours & 2 different gates later
I just wanted to post one last little thing to kind of wrap up this trip, kind of reflect on it and maybe add a few things that I may have forgotten. One of the main things I forgot to mention and it's probably not of much interest to most people, but it surprised me how many American cars I saw on my trip. Specifically Chevys and Fords. I even saw a Cadillac which absolutely amazed me because I didn't think I'd ever see one in Europe.
