What a great day to head out to Miami! Sun is shining and it's an easy drive. I rented from Hertz and after going round and round looking for a little sign that said Hertz we pulled in. It was great because they are close to the cruise port and they offer a free shuttle over to Carnival!

The great thing was our wonderful roommate has cruised lots with Carnival and ...

... The static was the only thing I wasn't really into. Marie lost it with laughter, my own private audience, always present to laugh when I accidentally say something remotely funny. Anyway, we are now on the plane to Chicago, and we hear it is literally freezing there. ... I had little trouble walking and getting back to my "accommodation". Vienna was incredibly easy, the transport system is better than any I've used including Paris, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Miami... I've often described the street grid of Dublin as having been laid out by Vikings on LSD. Well, those Vikings would have gotten lost very easily in Prague. No matter what I did, whenever I would use the Metro I'd follow the signs to where ...

    ... therefore, nothing was sacred
about my food choices, or purchases…, since I could not walk by anyone, without
them peering into my basket.., I began holding it toward anyone, with
    interested faces…

    This received looks that implied
either gratitude or shyness.., because in China there is a different concept in
confidentiality.., anyone will walk right up, and become engrossed in your
    situation.., especially if ...
