      ... cemetery taking note of the many Danish names and inscriptions on the tombstones, some dating back to the mid-1800s and still legible.
      At last we arrived in Dubuque, the last town in Iowa before crossing the Mississippi. Camping that night was in Galena, IL. The next day was spent transversing the state of Illinois from the river to Lake Michigan and Jayne's house, where we are on hiatus for a week or so.
