... morning at about 4am so that gives us about 3 days to do the journey, we'll probably try and do about 400 miles tomorrow between us to try and break the back of it and then have a couple of Slower easier days after but we shall see!!! It very much depends on the traffic really and then we obviously have to try and get through the carnage at Calais without any immigrants climbing aboard!!! Doors and windows will be well and truly locked!! ...

... for the van somewhere else and also it was a nice secure underground car park that was 2.1m high which we need so all was good. After parking up we managed to find our way to a tram stop and bought an all day travel card which was only €7 each, we were a bit confused for a while as to whether we were buying the right one but it allowed us to get on all the trains, buses and trams we wanted to during the day so was spot on. ... come in from the kitchen. He spoke limited English, but wanted to go through the menu with us. He was clearly excited about the menu and after hearing what was to come, we perked up. What did follow was a six- or seven-course meal, with each course better than the one before. All of us were simply gushing about the quality of the food as we savored every course.
