Another couple of sights later (an old religious school and a second hand rug merchant) and we found ourselves back where we started with Sandi lagging far behind.

In the evening we grabbed some skewers from a smoke choked stall and walked around the main boulevard, but there wasn't much to see: most of the male population was watching a soccer game in various cafés. Weird to see no one drinking while watching sports. ...

A former military fort town further established by the French for their military needs in the 1860’s, it today has a nice coexistence of the old fort ramparts with the new Riads, Hotels and broad roads.
