... We pulled up to a group of buildings that looked empty and thought we were too late. But our driver got out and went in. A few minutes later the doors opened, all the lights inside went on, and we could see half a dozen people walking around inside. So, they either weren't really closed, or they heard we were there and re-opened for us. The place was called Art D'Argile, or Art from Clay, and we got a full tour of the facility, from watching one of the workers make a bowl on ...

... amp; the rest of the group went to an artisan jeweller where the ladies fell in love with a lot of the stock. Then lastly went to a traditional pharmacy which was really quite cool seeing all the remedies and cures that have been used for over a 1000 years. ... far to go, because my new boss, Paddy, was waiting for me outside the airport along with two women who are also Barbary Macaque researchers. We all piled into a small, powder blue car and took off towards the mountains!

During the drive to Azrou, we drove past a lot of agricultural land, including a lot of olive trees and fruit trees. It actually felt a lot like Davis, which was welcoming. As we traveled higher in elevation, ag land turned to ...

... which was about the same! The drive was as good as a 3 hour haul can be, a short food and toilet stop broke up the journey. Our only error was taking the exit before we wanted, we blame Google. It said to take exit 52 but silly Spaniards have 2 exit 52's don't they; makes complete sense..

We got to the airport, dropped our car without issues and checked in. When we got to our gate we couldnt figure out why everybody was lining up before the gate even opened. We ...
