... the cannon sounded, immediately followed by the call to prayer, so we were still moving through the streets when people started breaking the fast. Any group that we passed asked us to join them, despite the fact that they clearly didn't have enough food to feed us all. It was really moving. It was great seeing these people so refreshed with their food and water. The streets seemed to come back to life while we were walking.

... quite surprised.We then visited a small town called Moulay Idriss, where a guide took us around the town and up to a view point. He spoke about the important people in the area and some of the muslim traditions.We then made our way to Meknes and wandered through the Medina there. It was much more relaxed than Fes's medina. The scenery was stunning in Meknes so overall it was a great day.

BBQ for dinner tonight and a full day of travelling to Essaouria tomorrow.
