    ... gravesite overlooking Oyster Bay where he had enjoyed a great deal of his childhood. His home, Sagamore Hill is also there, but closed for renovation.     Today we woke up a lot later than we have been in the past few days which is good. We froze to death during the night though so I wasn't as well rested as I'd hoped.

    I have had a brilliant day today, visiting a large (well, large for them, approx 600 bed (NUH is around 1500) teaching hospital in the same "health system" as yesterday's hospital. Their "health systems" are similar to our Trusts, but don't always have such strong links between hospitals. I won't bore you with the ins and outs of what I learnt (although, for me, I learnt some really great stuff, which I'm geekily so excited about implementing in the UK)!
