Lunch at Harpers Ferry where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converge, as do the states of West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. A very old and historic town - could ramble for hours.

Travelled via the pretty Catoctin Mountain area. We have had some great drives through the countryside, getting off the highways when we can.

We have really missed him and Casey was truly ecstatic. She's missed having the opportunity to do what mothers do best - Nag! ;o).

... the cool colonial architecture of Richmond. Big old red brick houses with ivy. Visited a cool English/Liverpool pub in the evening for dinner with anything English nailed to all the walls. Made ed and I a little nostalgic of home. Back at the house Helen and Bob played the piano and sang to us a song amazingly before bed, followed by Charlie ...
