    ... pump 3500 gallons a minute. a tanker that holds 2500 gallons of water and a further 1000 allons of foam, the water is equal to 5 CFA trucks alone.... Bill Offerman, the chief, was great, an Iron butt rider and full of great stories.

    ... glass exhibit. Libby Glass is based around Toledo and had made significant donations to the museum. We went to that exhibition first. They were doing some glass-blowing when we got there. The formal talk was over, but some of the glass-blowers took the time to discuss what they were doing.

    Left Greenwood and headed north through Indianapolis towards Chicago. I'd made the decision to revisit some of Friday's route as I'd not been able to do it justice due to tiredness. Left I-65 just 75 miles from Chicago and headed west to rejoin Route 66 at Dwight. Took a look at downtown Dwight as an early alignment of the route had gone through the town whereas it now skirts the edge of town. It was very quiet with businesses closed due to Memorial Day but ...
