... and in the Smithsonian no less. Fossil phones aside, Ible and I had a blast checking out all of the other exhibits they had and drooling over the artifacts that were on display. However, we did not have time to explore the entire museum since all of the museums connected to the Smithsonian Institution closed at or around 4:30.

... inspiring then walked across the Potomac bridge back to Washington Monument. Being Sunday, the place was pretty busy and weather still warm but comfortable. Clouds moved in and out later in the afternoon to give me some interesting light on the monuments. See photos.
On Sunday, we both went into the City to visit the Natural History and American History Smithsonian museums.

... which is the less severe version of “Post Traumatic World Cup Syndrome!” So the best course of action is to wean ourselves off like a baby and a bottle…or like a drug addict! Of course, I am familiar with neither of those examples, as my only addiction is to the beautiful game!! So let the weaning continue…though this really will be the very last entry! L
And we are down to the last 5 memorable ...
... knowledge about it. After, this we had a long walk back to our hostel but we had a great day so it is all worth it. We have both fully enjoyed DC and we are now currently relaxing in our hostel ready for our trip to NYC tomorrow! Which we are both VERY excited for. Our travels are coming to an end but we still have a lot to look forward to over the next week.

... at the cheap and cheerful Millers Ale House. Tuesdays work came and went, and in the evening we went out on a social night with our American colleagues. We are all happy with the choice of venue as it's "Gordon Biersch" and we've been there many times. Gordon Biersch is a chain micro brewery by the way.
