... and the caves were good. Nadia was our guide for the caves and she was fun and interesting. We were not allowed to take photos in the cave (supposedly because the camera flash might ruin the cave paintings made by the Taino Indians but even non-flash photography is banned so I'm not sure...) ... dissertation research on documentation and the movement Reconocido with the fantastic help of Telemin. It has been extremely interesting to learn directly from those living here about the issues which they have to deal with on a daily basis. That said, I am really looking forward to travelling, being a tourist and not having to worry about work or anything uni-related!
