... with dipping sauces -- both were wonderful! We ere in an enclosed glass room, a very elegant restaurant, and Mr. and Mrs. Australia were there! Gary was fascinated by some old women playing cards, tho he would not join them! We could not figure out what they were playing. They kept score on a small blackboard and changed seats frequently??? After watching them, we strolled back to our room and went to bed. Another wonderful day in ...

This isnt five star by any stretch, more sleeping bag sort of stuff but this is pretty fantastic considering the price of other things we have come across in Switzerland. Watched our neighbours BBQ'ing in the clouding whilst we sat in and munched our way through kievs n veggies, not sure if wafting with a closed umbrella helped the cooking of said BBQ but there's nowt queer as folk as they say. Anyway this is my last blog from Switzerland, onwards to France tomorrow. See ya there.

As we continued our decent we observed people skiing through Wengen, the village immediately above Lauterbrunnen right to their front doors. We were bitterly disappointed to hear that Trockelbach Falls were closed for maintenance upon our return ...

... a short walk up to one of the 72 waterfalls in the region. This one was right across the road from our accommodation so was easy to get to. The waterfall was massive, and looked more impressive from the road than from the top of the walk. Again the rain started up so we were quick to run back to our cabin, get takeaway pizza and spend our last evening staying warm and cosy.
The next morning we were back in the bus to get to our next ...
