Ok everyone, we are talking to the travelpod people and are trying to fix the upside-down photo issue. We were sad to leave G-ev,and all the "G"'s and cheeks, but then Ivan and Vlad have been sad about leaving everywhere on this trip. Little did we know the standard was about to slip drastically. Le musée de L'art populaire Hutsul , certainement le mieux agencé du pays, véritable mémoire du peuple Hutsul.

Left at 9.30am this morning for a hike in the mountains. After quite a warm night on the train, arrived in Kolomiya, a small town up in the mountains. Spent the day wandering around town in the rain, including a visit to an Easter egg museum, before heading back to our accommodation which is a gorgeous bed and breakfast on the edge of town. We had a cooking class (yes I know, me - cook?) where we learnt to make vareneki - little dumplings - in this case filled with mashed potatoes. Luckily they turned out ok because we had them for dinner ...
