Woke at 7.30 or something still smashed so. One thing we've seen in a few places are ground squirrels; they're like normal squirrels but have less bushy tales. The ones at Carmel beach were extremely friendly. We'd just picked up a pastry for lunch and I tore a bit off and the squirrel loved it. ... and I was certain that Azrael was either going to run him over, or cause an accident by braking too suddenly. As I braced myself, quick-thinking Azrael saw that there was no traffic on the other side of the road, and swerved onto the oncoming lane to avoid the idiot-pooch. Behind us, the jeep had to swerve the other way to avoid him!!! What a stupid dog and where the hell was the stupid-er owner?!?!?!!?!
Phew! No dog brains on Andy.... we continued to Leffingswell Landing ...
