Day 3: Chill out at Krabi
Perfect start to the day with tea in the balcony which ends into the pool where my daughter is wading splashing swimming. Eventually we tire of languishing and go out for grub: my wonderful package doesn't include breakfast. Some food and then we drive to the beach for massage and more languishing. On the way we find another deal at another hotel which is older style with a very nice view.
Life is currently a beach....and loving it!
We have just got back from the Pi Pi island day tour by speedboat, which went to Maya Bay famous from The Beach film, plus other islands; we had a great day and excellent trip (great another all day boat trip – but I seem to be finding my sea legs with the help of travel sickness pills and the excitement of a speed boat!).

Airport to Tipa Resort (Day 1)

Arrived at Krabi Airport, was small and there were no aerobridges so we walked from the plane to the airport. Immigration had a long queue, 4 out of 10 counters were in operation. Took about 1/2 hour to clear immigration and finally made our way …
Beautiful Krabi
Arrived on Feb 4 and flew Thai air. Deb from the tour stayed with me for 2 nights and Beth (also from the tour) stayed one night. On the first day here Deb and I did a 5 Island tour with the same company I did the PhiPhi tour.
Krabi - Day 4
... of loungers. There were a couple of clouds in the sky but it was actually quite hot. After a couple of hours of sunbathing and swimming we went back to get ready before we went out on a ride to Krabi town. When we got to Krabi town we decided to keep on going. “ Spacious place in city centre ”

The huge place is in a sharp contrast to the busy market place jus outside. Lots of greenery and tranquility all around. Our room was at an elevation so afforded a very nice view of the sea from across tree tops and roof tops. Breakfast is great too
