      Spacious place in city centre

The huge place is in a sharp contrast to the busy market place jus outside. Lots of greenery and tranquility all around. Our room was at an elevation so afforded a very nice view of the sea from across tree tops and roof tops. Breakfast is great too

Back in Ao Nang Méganne, Solène and I spent our last evening together in the usual fashion, walking around the shops, trying (and mostly failing) to resist buying brightly coloured trousers and souvenirs. I now own 6 pairs of Thai trousers and am still tempted to buy more even though I know that in a few days time they will cease to be part of my daily wardrobe, more's the pity.

We where very lucky to stop in the middle of the ocean to snorkel for over two hours (at different times) and saw some amazing fish and wildlife under the water... :)))))
We passed Chicken Island (I don't think my picture shows it that good?) and this is pretty cool and onto monkey bay...
Its really was nice and the snorkeling was fantastic. Whilst out at sea we saw a sting ray and millions of different fish, ...

What made it worse was this is where the curtain is so your head appears to be in like a box or coffin. Some people were freaking out but the only dispute I had was my feet hung out the end. We sat in the bar downstairs and played some beer pong during the evening then went to sleep in out ...

... on East Railay, but came back closer to sunset. It was lower tide, so the beach extended much longer, so we could take a lot more pictures. To top it off, there were much fewer people and they were spread out over a much wider area. The next morning, we had to say goodbye and head over to Ao Nang, the town on the mainland. We checked out, and waited for enough people (eight) to gather on West Railay to share a longtail boat for a reasonable price (100 baht each). Off we ...
