We spent the morning at Typhoon Lagoon. Great pool and huge waves. The boys enjoyed the slides. Ben especially enjoyed his breakfast of a huge doughnut covered in pink icing.
Fun ended by a huge thunder storm, glad we managed to get a spot under cover.
Later on, when all had dried out, the boys went into the Magic Kingdom for Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain and one of our favourites, The Pirates of the Caribbean.
... who would have thought 22 yrs ago I would be back! The best bit of all was the illumination spectacular, which we watched with everyone else after our Moroccan meal. Again we were asphyxiated most of the time we were ever stationery by Steves shoes. Apparently he can smell nothing, we all now move away and sit elsewhere. Even the suggestion we bin them and purchase some jandals clearly wasn't enough to hit ...
... Fantasia has The Gardens which is crazy golf based on..... you guessed it, a fantasia theme. As a huge fan of Mickey as the Sorcerers Apprentice this is right up my street. The theming is amazing, with twirling hippos, buckets and mops which squirt you with water and Mickey conducting dancing fountains, all the time accompanied by music from fantasia, it's just a great way to send an hour or so. So our contiki started off with getting a couple of facts straight to begin. 1) most of the group had been going for 2 weeks already- and 10 out the 54 were just joining in. This is something that made us rather grumpy to be honest- as we had no idea about this fact- and it meant it was kinda like starting a new school half way through the year. None of us 10 knees were joining a group and both Isaac and I have decided that if we did know- we wouldn't have done the tour. ...
