    ... south on US 77, stopping in Junction City, Kansas for fuel. We paid $3.27/gal and got over 10 mpg on that tank. From there, we hopped on I-70 W toward Abilene, Kansas to tour the Eisenhower Library and Museum. As we drove, I saw a sign that said we were also following the Chisholm Trail. I think five different trails converge in this area: Santa Fe, Oregon, Chisholm, Pony Express and California I believe.

    ... our way through at least a mile of narrow, potholed streets lined with ramshackle houses! As I said, NO Post Office! Hmmmm. Revenge for not listening yesterday? You be the judge.

    ... hit home with me when he asked if we remember the first time we rode a bike. I still remember the capital forest campground and I could feel for the presenter/ father of a kid that participated in the camp when he said he will remember the moment his child rode forever.
