... visiting Bangkok that day from Singapore. So I connected with Julie (thanks Liz!) and met her that night in Bangkok. Her friend Ang also flew in that night and we drank and dined at Above 11, a very swanky rooftop bar. Ironically it is modeled after Gramercy Park in New York, and the scene was very much New York with lots of expats and trendy drinks. ... where not that many of them as I'm sure they could get aggressive. I kept a large stick in my hand just incase they decide to give it large. They stay chilled and relaxed. After a while we leave them on the beach and head back. The current drags us well right of the direction we want. I was laughing, danny was getting the hump. ... to be relaxing we have walked many miles each day. The beach is not as nice as we had hoped but our pool is better than expected so it all evens out.

We will be heading to Bangkok on the morning of our flight. We will be using a different mode of transportation this time. Just haven't decided on the train or minibus yet.
