When I was making my summer plans over the spring months, I of course wanted to include some relaxing beach time. I made plans to go with a friend to Mykonos in early July and figured that would suffice (in addition to weekly trips to Santa Severa beach outside Rome). Something that I was also planned for the summer was to visit in old teaching buddy who now lives in Zurich. Was going to do that a few days after Madrid.

... a piece of luck. My sons claim they arranged it for my birthday. We are planning to go up but wonder if we will be allowed if it's so active, I can hear it rumbling as I type this.

On beach in a bar watching Kathy have a massage while I have a beer. Had my massage, **** it hurt but feel good now. Ordered another beer. We are in Port Grimuad, South of France. Very pretty and very busy. Grimuad is next to St Tropez, where the rich and famous live and park their super yachts. Brad and Angeline with kids live in the hills behind us. Back to where we went after Croatia, we caught a over night boat to Bari, Italy and drove south ...
