... now getting close (less than an hour) to Twin Bridges, MT where my college roommate lives. If our past adventures are any indication, I may not be able to write about our stay...oh, but we are older now by 30+ years!

BTW: Ebony has been a great companion who travels and camps very well.

Left Deadwood mid morning and drove 200 miles to Sheridan, South Dakota. It was a very grey, wet and foggy day so the scenery wasn't much unfortunately.

Stopped in a small town called Spearfish for lunch at the Sanford Pub & Grub - great pub with lots of different memorabilia around the walls and good food too.

Peter D's RV Park had a few negative online reviews. The Host at the Great Falls FamCamp (Malmstrom) knew Peter and said both he and the park were nice. The RV Park was nothing special but it was well run and Peter was quite a character. He had rules and expected you to follow them. His park ... his rules. We had no problem with his request.

... a couple of hundred white tail deer and only about 10 mule deer. John said that there was 50 mule deer for every white tail 40 years ago but now there are 50 white tail for every mule deer. He doesn't know why. He said winters here are milder with a lot less snow so maybe the white tail now has an advantage.
