... we changed our plans to go through Sheridan, WY on our way to Rapid City. I found Peter D's RV park. His recording said he had spots available for latecomers and that staying at Pete's had nutritional value - if we didn't stay, Pete didn't eat. Haha! It must have been terrifying when the end came for Custer and his men. Dinner was at Custer Battlefield Trading Post. Sarah had the Indian Taco, ...

We got a good nights rest last night and a good breakfast at the KOA Kitchen ( all you can eat pancakes with coffee for $4!) and we were soon on our way to see Mount Rushmore. Tom left us to go to Rapid City and pick up his new riding boots at the FedEx store, with plans to catch up to us at Rushmore. We had a nice ride in to Rapid City, in spite of Spencer (the ride leader for today) almost running ...
