I have really enjoyed visiting the Azores though I admit, I did have to look them up in the atlas. They belong to Portugal but on the whole we have got by without having to learn Portuguese!

... go via ferry. St Miguel where we docked is the largest of the 9. This morning we had our complementary "Behind the Scenes tour". We did The Bridge, the costume wardrobe, the galley and also the laundry. 12,000 sheets a week and that's just for the passengers not including the crew.
